Corey Day Adds Another Statement Win with Late-Race Charge at Dover

Corey Day put together another impressive drive Saturday at Dover Motor Speedway, battling up front all afternoon before taking the lead late to earn his second NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series victory of the season. The twenty-year-old showed speed from the start, but it was his patience in the closing laps that made the difference as he chased down Justin Allgaier and made the winning move with only a few laps remaining.

For Day, the win is another big step in what’s quickly becoming a standout rookie season. Dover is one of the toughest tracks on the schedule, known for its rough concrete surface and demanding corners, but Day looked comfortable all race long and delivered when the pressure was highest.

The victory continues the momentum he has been building throughout 2026 and adds another highlight to an already strong year for the Hendrick Motorsports prospect.
