Rising star Corey Day is set to participate in the final seven events of the 2024 USAC National Midget Series on the West Coast. He will be driving the Willie Kahne No. 4 car, the same vehicle in which he secured a preliminary feature win at the Chili Bowl earlier this year.
Day’s 2024 season has been impressive, with eight victories and a fifth-place finish in the championship standings during his rookie national sprint car season with Kubota High Limit Racing.
His performance has attracted attention from the NASCAR community, leading to opportunities with Hendrick Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
The USAC National Midget west coast swing begins at Placerville Speedway on November 15-16 for the Hangtown 100, followed by events at Thunderbowl Raceway, Merced Speedway, Bakersfield Speedway, and concluding with the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Raceway on November 30.
